I want to create a story that is similar to Dracula, but with my own twist to it. My story will be located in England. The time period is the late 19th century. To show as in Dracula the steering away from Victorian traditional morals and values in society. The story in a nutshell would be about how a girl name Lena tried to find her own identity in society outside of her husband. Lena will run into her friend Countess Picala whose family owns a solicitation company. Lena asks her for help getting a job and Picala gives her a job at the company doing secretarial work. Lena makes horrifying discoveries after she starts working. Lena realizes that the clients that Countess Picala have her get are all future victims. Lena would confront the …show more content…

She has a kind and charming demeanor. Under her charm Picala has an evil soul that desires men. When she is in her evil state the Countess can control weather, take the form of animals, and has incredible strength of 20 men. She is powerless during the day and in water. She cannot come into anyone home. People have to willingly come to her. She says, “Why should I be limited to one man the men typically have a few women”. To give the reader an idea of what the Company is about and why it’s so popular. Each of my main characters would give a brief history of themselves except Dr Ricardo. I want him to be the Mysterious Dr from another land that knows everything about vampires and some new technologies everyone else is ignorant of. I would purposely do this to keep the reader guessing about the true identity of Dr Ricardo. As shown in Dracula, Dr Van Helsing had all the knowledge about vampires and scientific reason, but it is never clarified were he learned anything he knows
