Genres of Music
Some of us always listen to music from getting up in the morning, to driving to work. There all many different genres of music and everybody has their own type of music. The two that I’m going to talk about are Rock. Country. Each one of these can be broken down into their own Classification. Each one of these has an artist that has shaped the genre music. I’m going to start off with is rock music.
There many classification Rock music you have hard rock, soft, rock, southern rock, Alternative rock. Rock music has change of the years since to begin of the rock history. Some people say it got better and some said is getting worst. Rock music started back in the 1950s, it got, it begins with the help with the blues and country music. Some of your first rock artist where people like Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis Presley and others. Then on February 3, 1959 a plane carrying Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and J.P. “The Big Bopper” Richardson crash and after Don McLean song American Pie it became known as the day that the music dies. It also has been on Classification and its styles it. Country music started in around 1920s in the southern states in around the Appalachian Mountains it starts as hillbilly music. In 1923 county music first hit record was with John Carson. There were two big radio programs one was National Barn Dance which was from Chicago, IL which began in 1924, and in 1925, the “Grand Ole Opry” from Nashville, Tenn. In the 1940s country start to get big with honky-tonk which emerge in the 1940s with artist like Ernest Tubb, and Hank Williams it was also the same year when bluegrass started. Then after World War II Roy Acuff co-organized Nashville first publishing house for country music. Then in the 1950s and 1960s country got ever bigger with people like Johnny Cash, Tammy Wynette, Buck Owens just to name a
