In the changing and fast growing pace of technology, my position as a CIO has had to adapt to better align with our company’s business objectives. With the IT seemingly becoming more influential in the business world, it makes sense that the CIO will have more responsibilities in the company (Taewon Hwang, Discussion 1, 9:19 PM). Having a CIO as a business-strategy partner is key to alignment. Not only does he have to manage IT resources, he also must deploy and communicate IT capabilities in the way they align with the business strategic vision (Yves Laison, Discussion 1, 10:22 AM). The CIO certainly plays a crucial role in that competitive analysis, but so does every c-suite executive.

Since the beginning of the semester I knew I was going to struggle with english 73x. I’ve always had difficulties with my english classes because I never tend to fully comprehend it. I now find myself at the end of my first college semester and I can admit that I actually learned many things in this class. It began by learning how to input MLA formatting into my essays which helped me improve my writing. MLA formatting helped me improve my essays by making them more clear and understanding.

Throughout my years in school, I have always been genuinely interested in learning. Whenever I would hear something or read something that I didn't know before, it brought me enjoyment because it was lead me to ask questions. What could this mean for the future? How could I apply this to a subject completely unrelated to the information? What should I do with this knowledge?
English class was focused around writing this year. This meant that I had to compose several essays. They were not all essays, but writing them felt like a long end of the term paper. It was a struggle getting myself to write so much. While doing that I learned new writing methods, personal difficulties, and what I learned overall from this experience.
I am applying in the Doctoral Clinical Psychology program for the fall semester start date of 2018. I started my post-secondary education in November of 2014, at Bethel University in the subject of Criminal Justice and I was able to complete the 128 credit requirements of the Bachelors in November of 2016. I started Bethel Universities Criminal Justice Master’s program in February of 2017, and I will complete the 36 credit hour program on March 11, 2018. As an adult learner, I have learned as much about myself and my abilities as I have about the diverse subject matters of Criminal Justice and Social Science. When I first started my Bachelor’s degree it Bethel University I had told myself that I would be thrilled with my educational ability if I manage to achieve a “C” average.
During September of my freshman year of college, I fractured my femur and my best friend died in the same week. My favorite activity and the sport that brought me to that specific college, and my favorite person, were both ripped away from me. Trying to adapt to the lifestyle of division I cross-country, a sport highlighted by self-imposed agony, and my first semester of college course work, while learning how to heal my own life-shattering circumstances, were all foundational experiences that shaped my goals and dreams for my future research in the field that I came to love and cherish. This semester has been an ongoing challenge for me but has been an enjoyable one and I have not been presented with any impossible tasks. I have never been much of a writer, and during the course of this semester, I 've struggled to meet length requirements on the assigned essays. However, I do understand that not everyone is an excellent writer or even has to enjoy writing to get a good grade in this 1A class. From the start, with the first essay, I pushed myself to do my best and looked to multiple outlets to polish my writing, such as the online tutor, the writing center, the internet and the writer 's handbook.
