Molina was crying hysterically, yelling, had his fist clinched, and kicking the trash cans located in front of the parking lot. I asked Molina what happened today and he said, “I fucked up! My life is over.” Molina told me he pushed his girlfriend Verceles because he was angry and could not control himself. I asked Molina if he had ever attempted to hurt himself because he kept on saying that he does not want to be here anymore. Referring to ending his life. Molina told me that 3 years ago he attempted suicide, but he did not want to tell what he did. Molina told me that his mother had taken him to a “Suicidal Class,” where he met other young adults who had suicidal thoughts. Molina told me that the class did not help. I was unable to continue questioning Molina because he was crying, fell to his knee, and began gagging. Molina had nothing further to add. Based upon Molina’s statements and actions, I formed the opinion that Molina is a danger to himself/other. Officer Acosta #0047, responded to the scene and placed Molina on a 72 hour mental health evaluation; pursuant to WIC 5150.
