Collaboration among team members and the leader is playing a huge role of the completion of projects within organizations. A leader must create an environment that involves trust and confidence in each other for a team to work together effectively. Each individual has a different personality, life experiences, skills and abilities. These dynamics of the individuals are important for getting to know one another so the cohesion is formed. Leaders develop an environment of collaboration by sharing information about what they know and experiences they’ve faced. This sharing of information will allow team members to build confidence in the leader and eventually the team members will begin to share information with the leader and the others. Involve each individual in decision making processes by allowing them to brain storm and ask questions, giving them the chance to have purposeful input. Some leaders tend to set the goals for others and tell them exactly what needs to be done and by when. In most of these cases, the individuals will not perform at their optimum level and typically will always be discouraged and want to leave the organization.
