The ruling overlord eyed the human up distastefully, “Doktour, I find myself in need of some new enforcers, it seems the Witch of Morpheus has managed to lure the old ones away and I lack any suitable candidates to replace them.”
“Sir, I heard about the desertion of the night fliers, but I don 't understand the lack of suitable candidates to replace them though.”
“To put it simply Doktour, the humans, sitas and dwarves lack horns, making them lesser creatures, therefore they are unsuitable for authoritative positions.”
“Begging your pardon sir, but from what I could see, the night fliers, in comparison to your race, were lesser creatures as well.”

You want to be able to separate some members of the lesser races and elevate them to a position between yourself and the citizens of Minos, without upsetting the order you 've established here.”
The ruling overlord hadn 't known it until that moment, but that 's exactly what he wanted. This human was more perceptive than he would have believed possible, perhaps he was underestimating the humans.

“Sir? Don 't you know better than to call me that, the ruling overlord would kill you if he heard you call me that.” Tarro rebuked Doctor Wright, but the term of ultimate respect given to him by the human seemed to appease him and he sat back down. “What 's so important that you want to disturb the ruling overlord anyway?”
“We 're about to be invaded and the citizens of Minos are abandoning the city as we speak.”
“WHAT? They can 't leave without travel passes and who would dare to attack the bulls of Minos?”
“The Witch, the Goddess of Vengeance and the Knights of Morpheus.”
Tarro stood up and grabbed hold of the human 's shoulder. “Come with me, you 're going to tell the ruling overlord what you just told me.”
“I think it would be better coming from you Tarro, I 'll just head on back home now.”
“Not a chance, but don 't worry, I 'd say you have a
