Creative Writing: Blood Brothers

In 1944, in the village of Sighet, Romania, seventeen-year-old Baldwin goodwind spends much of his time playing basketball with is friends having fun, but one day one of his best friends named Austin came in running. While struggling to speak form being tired, he told all the teens” Germans are taking people for no reason”. Everyone laughed including Baldwin at the same time could Austin be telling the truth. They continued to play basketball and a few moments later they hear screaming in the distance. Austin looked in the direction and said “ see people are being taken from their homes”. A few seconds later Baldwin seen a officer and told Austin “run and hide over there”. The officer was Baldwin’s Uncle and they were looking for a Jew that was missing from the line. His uncle asked him but he wondered why he was out so late after dark. Baldwin didn 't speak for a moment he thought of what he should say because if he told him why he was out here, he’d get in trouble, but he didn 't want His best friend Austin to leave him. So Baldwin did something he never thought he’d do, and he lied to his uncle. So as his uncle left he signaled Austin and they ran back home. The soldiers looked at Baldwin’s uncle and asked why he did that to the boy and he simply told them “ that boy reminds me of someone form a long time ago”. We yelled at the soldiers to come back over and play us again. Baldwin and Austin were having so much fun with them and luckie was sitting there chasing his tail. Days passed, then weeks past, then months, then years Austin and Baldwin became grown men and Baldwin noticed his dye was coming out and when Baldwin washed Austin’s hair he noticed his hair was blonde like it was natural. Austin was a blonde without dye. A week pasted and they became soldiers and they gathered a group of them who hated their jobs young soldiers.
