Mike comes up to Aaron.”What’d you want”. He asked not yet realizing that I was here. “ Ya know that crazy colt what came in yesterday”. “Yeah I heard he practically killed his last owner”. Aaron laughs look who’s in that stall with him”. Mike puts down his phone a little confuse. “Someone’s in there?” I stick my head out of the stall and the stallion does the same next to me. I smile “yup he’s a big baby” I laugh patting his head. Aaron and Mike are both awe struck I laugh looking at them. You two look like fools”. They look at each other. I walk out of the stall and lock it. The colts eye following me where ever I go. “So you’ve seen what he’s like around me” I tell Mike. “Walk up to him”. Mike sighs and shifts his weight on his heels finally going forward. When he gets up to the door the stallion rears up a fire in his eye like he’s going to attack. Mike stumbles back. “That horse has a wire loose”. I’m grinning ear to ear. “ Well I just think he has trust issues” “Probably from his last owners”. I finally finish. Aaron then puts in. “From the way he acts he must of been beaten a lot. I sigh. “Yeah... I’m going to bring him to the back pasture.” Mike butts in. “I don’t think that’s a great idea no ones been able to get near him let alone walk him”.I look sternly at Mike. “Every step forward is a risk with a horse but all you can do is trust them”. He looks down at his feet. “If your really gonna do this then at least let me watch just in case something happens”. I nod. It would be good to get to know mike a little anyways. I walk back to the stall. The colt’s still standing there like he’s waiting for me. Beside the stall is a black halter. I grab it while going into the stall I put it up to him to let him see it, it doesn’t bother
