After escaping from Polyphemus’s cave, Odysseus, and his crew were looking for their ship. “Oh, Captain!” exclaimed the worried men that stayed on the ship. “Are you alright sir, where have you been?”
“Calm down my loyal men”, said Odysseus calmly. I’ll tell you what happened to me. I was exploring the massive island teeming with Cyclops’ caves. I entered to biggest, deepest, and darkest cave of all. Suddenly, a gigantic monster came out.”
“Weren’t you scared, sir”, said the frightened men.
“No”, answered Odysseus, ”fear is for the weak, and I’m not weak my loyal fellows. Now may I continue?”asked Odysseus.
“Yes, sir”, said his loyal men who were listening carefully to every word that came out of Odysseus’s mouth.
“That enormous, cruel, and selfish monster trapped us inside his cave. He made give him wine and he was so selfish that he did not stop to offer us wine. He asked for my name and I told him that my name was nobody and he foolishly believed me”, said Odysseus laughing.
“You are very smart captain”, said his crew. “Yes, I am”, said Odysseus as he continued telling his story. ”What got me really mad was that later, that cruel monster began to eat some of my men. But I was not going to stand there to see how they eat my men. So quickly I grabbed a glowing hot stake and I thrust it into his eye, leaving

At night time, I made sure Polyphemus was sleeping and told the rest of my crew to hide under each three sheep and wait until dawn. Because Polyphemus was blind when he woke up he only checked the top of the sheep and opened the door to let his sheep go eat. I was hiding underneath his favorite sheep that is always the first one to get out. He started talking to his sheep for a while. When he left the sheep down I did not miss the opportunity to tell how rude, cruel, selfish,he was and then I ran away. And that’s how we escaped from Polyphemus’s cave”, said Odysseus
