Imagine waking up just a couple of feet away from a perfectly clear ocean, a couple of steps away from sandy white beaches. Crete is a fantastic island filled with rich culture and beautiful scenery. 1. First you will learn about the history and geography of Crete. 2.Second you will learn about the interesting and rare culture. 3. Third you will learn about the sights you can see and visit while in Crete. According to World literature Today
2006, Crete is the fifth largest island in the Mediterranean Sea, the island extends to 160 miles from east to west! Not only is it a big island but it also belongs to the country of Greece which united in 1913, which is actually very very recent!

He was a man known for his medical technies and many people still believe that the air of Crete is great for heeling many illnesses. That is one of the many reason why Crete is so popular with tourists. From beaches to museums to the dense forests, pretty much any one can find something to do at the Island. Turquoise water, aquarium-like seabed, sand dunes and rare coastal ecosystems give visitors the opportunity to discover their paradise in Crete. Camping outdoors is forbidden by Greek laws, but there are camping sites all over the island where you can stay overnight but that comes with a very high cost. Crete has a wide variety of beaches that are safe and ideal for families! Overall Crete is a great place to come and visit by yourself or with your
