There is something about having the opportunity to aid in a family's life that hits home for me. I have balanced a variety of fields in the workforce and all of them included person-to-person communication. With in the past year and a half I have decided to apply to law school and become a family lawyer. My life has been instilled with morals of staying close to family members and working out problems for the better of keeping families together.
Having the opportunity to work alongside staff members of organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters and Family and Youth Council has drawn me closer to pursuing a career in family law. Working with Big Brothers and Big Sister Organization in particular remains a dream come true for me. It took

My job positions opened up by becoming a sales clerk at a local dress shop, although this has nothing to effect the field of law I was able to open up and provide my personal opinion to what type of gown an individual tried on. I continued to aid women in selecting the best gown for their body type and compliment them, which makes people become more confident in there selves. A few years later I later transitioned to a file clerk and a runner at Robichaux, Mize, Wadsack, Richardson, and Ironclad Title. Being in the presence of the Calcasieu Parish court system daily grew my interest in law, although I remained unsure considering I was not hand’s on with fundamentals and background in the field of law. I began college in the fall of 2010 majoring in Mass Communications with law in the back of my mind. After two and a half years of college I ended up in a Communications Law class and fell in love with the concept of attending law school. At that moment I suddenly knew I wanted to pursue law and become a family lawyer.
