CrossCountry Mortgage, Inc. supplies computers for employee use in business-related activity. Unauthorized modifications or configuration changes to computers is not permitted. Computer hardware and software can only be installed on the equipment if the installation is completed by the Licensee and all software for corporate use must be approved prior to its installation. Employees may not use personal software on Licensee computers or networks or Licensee purchased software on home or on non-CrossCountry Mortgage, Inc. computers or equipment.

Employees are to lock all paper records in a file cabinet or other document storage area when leaving a work area. Employees shred all dispensable paper records containing sensitive information and all employees working from home or other non-CrossCountry Mortgage, Inc. work environments have direct access to a shredder. Confidential documents are retrieved from printers immediately or shredded by department managers. All unattended documents found on printers are placed in shred bins. Employees are to lock all computers when leaving their work area. The automatic screen lock function is set for all company computers to activate upon 10 minutes of inactivity. The door to the reception area is locked at all times and requires appropriate credentials or escort to gain access past the reception or waiting area. Staff is present in the reception area at all times during working hours and all visitors must sign in at the front desk.
