What is the most important or unique cultural practice I see in this text?

The most important and unique cultural practice I see in the text, The Aeneid, is how important duty and loyalty to their country is. Aeneas demonstrates the cultural practice of duty by committing his whole life to Rome. He gives up a queen’s love and leaves everything behind to fight for Rome and glorify his homeland. Aeneas believes he has a mission and responsibility to Rome to prove its magnificence, this ends up becoming Aeneas’s identity as his whole life revolves around the excellences of Rome.
