It is quite different from western medicine. And there are some different view of TCM between American people and Chinese people. Each and every TCM modality is based on Qi. People was born with a self healing ability and through the use of particular healing form, TCM practitioners recharge that self healing function in the body. These modalities can increase and balance the Qi, giving the body and being the healing support it need to regain its healthy function. TCM has a variety of natural healing methods that can help the people resolve the health issues. Such as acupuncture, tuina, classical herbal therapy, qigong and so on. For example, many Americans, not completely satisfied with western medicine, have turned to alternative and complementary medicine which explains the increasing popularity of the herbal products and the Chinese herbal medicine. Herbs in the USA and in many European countries have been prepared as capsules, tablets, teas, lozenges, juice extracts, tincture and ointments. Chronic low back pain is one of the most common reasons that people seek medical treatment. The etiology of chronic low back pain is not clear, which means it is often refractory to treatment. But acupuncture can be effective in providing symptomatic relief of chronic back pain. Acupuncture achieved better outcomes when compared with other treatments so that many Americans think acupuncture is really beyond their comprehension.

To draw a conclusion, we should pay more attention to traditional Chinese medicine. TCM is a great treasure of Chinese civilization. Even many well-known people in foreign countries can indulge in elaborating on TCM, we must try our best to protect them and not let them disappear in the near
