Cybil Regret was born to a pair of bandits belonging to the Band of the Coyote, a human man by the name of Paul Regret, and a devil woman by the name of Luna Blazer. Paul was a weak and timid man, but excelled at gathering intel because he was an unnoticeable, unremarkable man with no outstanding features. Because of this, he was good at hiding in plain sight and gathering info near the target without getting a second glance. Paul Regret was remarkable at being unremarkable. He was so unremarkable and unnoticeable that it took a full week to realize that he had gone missing on an intel gathering mission, and had, in fact, been murdered. He passed when Cybil was 10 or so. But she was charismatic and powerful, and could sway a losing battle to success with her arrival. She was fiercely respected by the Band and Cybil looked up to her in her youth, even though their relationship was somewhat distant. Nobody could really understand what a woman like Luna had seen in Paul, but not a soul had the heart to ask. She had no other long term relationships. The Band of bandits and ruffians Cybil had been born into, The Band of the Coyote, was a rather successful group of criminals that had been established 10 years prior to her birth. In the Band there were many members of varying races and from different walks of life who had decided to turn away from a peaceful upstanding vocation and take advantage of the lawlessness of the wild, wild west. At a young age young Cybil helped tend to the camp and prepare the adults for raids, and in her early teens she became an active participant. Unfortunately because of the lifestyle of the Band, Cybil didn 't receive much of an education, and has a poor grasp of many a school subject (Paul would sometimes teach her some school learnin ' back when he was kicking, but let 's be real, ol ' Paul wasn 't much brighter) .
