The Dallas Cowboys are a very important team. They symbolize America's team. Since they do, fans should understand their achievements, their Hall of Fame, where it all started, and their unique uniforms. I. It all started in 1960, when Clinton Murchison Jr. and Bedford Wayne took a load of money out of their wallets, 144 million dollars to be exact, and purchased them (David Aretha). The Cowboys weren't one of the best teams entering the league, starting their first ever season with a 0-11 start, and missing playoffs (www.sportsemcylopedia.com). Dallas´s first game was on September 24, 1960, against the Green Bay Packers (www.sportsencyclopedia.com). It looked like an easy win, until the fourth quarter. Dallas had the lead entering the fourth quarter, but that was soon to change. The Cowboys watched helplessly, as quarterback Bobby Lane drive down the field and won the game for the packers. The Cowboys appeared in their first NFL Super Bowl in 1972, and wouldn’t stop from there. Dallas went to 7 more super bowls tying the record for most super bowl appearances (David Aretha).
