It is hard to believe that such a simple gesture, like pointing to the sky, can get a person into trouble. Unfortunately for Dante Turo, he was flagged for pointing to the sky after making an amazing touchdown. For his action, the team received a fifteen yard penalty. According to All Christian News, the officials that were at the game made the call because of “excessive celebration and poor sportsmanship.” Dante was not trying to bring attention to himself in any way, but rather show his faith and thank the Lord for his playing abilities.
