Dante as a living human being in the book makes him untouchable by any physical pain or torture, but he can still feel the pain of other people he have encounter during his journey. He started his journey as a lost man and Virgil came to guide him, which helped him, yet he had doubts and fear. Then he knew that the three pleased women cared and loved him and that helped to set him on the right path. I think that the author wanted to show as at the beginning of the book how he was lost and scared because he was away from god or maybe he have sinned before. After that his personality have changed, and he became more choragus because he is on the right path to heaven and God. Throughout the part we read he kept asking question to make the reader
