With descriptions of their mundane school grounds, unsightly home lives, and the rough and tough appearance of the boys, Joshua Davis paints vivid portraits of the main characters of his novel. While thumbing through the novel, I could feel the fear associated with the constant threat of deportation, and the anxiety of wondering if their families were going to be there when they returned home. When it was revealed that the boys had succeeded in winning the competition, I felt a physical wave of happiness and relief wash over me. This kind imagery and ability to translate emotion is essential in telling a story such as this, because a person truly needs to be able to place themselves in the shoes of those boys to be able to fully appreciate
I feel as though my countless hours of binge-watching science fiction TV shows has finally paid off. I am now in the position to create a team instead of cringe at the groups that do not act as a team and are unsuccessful in the mission. I now have the power to ensure that the three people have the ability to make smart, moral decisions. With that being said, I would take my father, my aunt, and the UT Chancellor’s Honors Program’s own, Joshua Dobbs. I believe each of the people I have chosen have what it takes to face new challenges, and even new planets.
Brian would be a dynamic person from the novel. In the novel when he had seen sparks off the hatchet when he hit it into the tree he was amazed. “So, he thought if that made sparks I can make a fire with that wood and my hatchet,”Brian said. Brian had being seeing his self change day-after-day. When the tornado had passed by the fire, it ruined it and his shelter.
Characterization Robert Ross: Robert Ross was a Canadian soldier. He was sensitive and a caring young man. He was the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Ross. He joined the army for the world war because he could not forgive himself for the death of his sister, Rowena. He was a brave and intelligent soldier.
Based on the evidence in Patrick Shanley’s play, Doubt: A Parable, I conclude Father Flynn is guilty because of his desire to help boys and his ability to hide his past. Father Flynn has a strange liking of boys. He is the basketball coach at the school and loves spending time teaching kids how to play basketball. Charlie Ward’s death had an impact on the Ward family, Michael MacKenzie, and Joe Sadowski. Charlie Ward’s death affected Jenna because Jenna is starting to become furious, depressed, and is seeking revenge on her father’s murder. Also, Jenna starts to become anti-social and the only thing that motivates her to become more involved is by her best friend, Andrea convincing her. Due to Charlie’s death, Jenna begins to have panic attacks when she is around her boyfriend, Jason. In the first place, Johnny Cade is "the gang's pet" (page 12) Ponyboy portrays Johnny as a "a little dark lost puppy” and a “puppy that has been kicked too many times and is lost in a crowd of strangers"(both from page 11) He is just 16 years old and Johnny has a truly harsh life. His dad was continually beating him, and his mom ignored him. He was the second-youngest and smallest among the greasers and had a slight form.

Moore main purpose in this book is to explore the overarching impact that a collection of expectations and decisions, not always one’s own, can have on someone’s life.

We follow the father and the son's journey, on the state road to the south. On their journey the father and son struggle to survive, while also facing some obstacles. Those obstacle include the lack of food, water and shelter.
Stephanie Plum, Morelli, and Ranger are three main characters in the book, One for the Money, by Janet Evanovich. Stephanie is a young woman struggling to get by in the city of Trenton, New Jersey. After losing her job, she goes against her family’s request and gets the dangerous job of a bounty hunter. She gets assigned Joe Morelli, who was accused of murder and who happened to be a childhood enemy. Stephanie is very inexperienced and receives help from a professional bounty hunter, Ranger.
