A Serial Killer a person who kills people more than one person over a period of time some of them might have a mental illness or may be a psychopath. But there are some abused, emotionally or physically or both by a Family Member. You could tell if someone will be a Serial Killer by following the Macdonald Triad which is cruelty to animals, bedwetting, and obsession with fire a certain age which leads to violent behavior. Many Serial Killers faced similar problems when there young. Family lack is the part of a child's development because it is what the child can recognize with on a regular basis. David Richard Berkowitz is a serial killer who was convicted on series of shootings attacks that happened in the summer of 1976. All of the victims were killed with a .44 caliber Bulldog revolver. This shootings continued for over a year and it highly publicized in the press the killings terrorized New York City it achieved worldwide dishonor. David Berkowitz parents separated before his birth, when his mom Betty Border was pregnant her boyfriend Joseph Kleinman threatened her to abandon the baby so then she putted him up for adoption. But then he was adopted by Pearl and Nathan Berkowitz. David’s childhood was kind of bad, but he was very smart, some of his neighbors described David as difficult and spoiled. David’s mom died with breast cancer and then he’s life started become a lot worse, and it’s really because he didn’t like his adopted fathers wife. David then joined the US Army. Police also discovered handwritten letter and that’s when he’s nickname came in the son of sam. In the note it said that he will continue his work to kill more people and to taunt the police. At the scene in one of his shootings a woman called Cecilia Davis saw David walk past her and she taught he had a gun, so then she ran home and heard gunshots. She stayed silent for about four days but then reported him, so then the police investigated searched the car and found a duffel bag filled with ammunition, maps of the crime scenes, and a threatening letter addressed to Sgt. Dowd of the Omega task force. They then waited for David to come in his car to surround him. When they caught him he was found with his .44 special Bulldog revolver. Berkowitz was interrogated and later confessed that it was him who confessed in the shootings. On June 12, 1978, Berkowitz was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison for each murder to be served consecutively. Later Berkowitz declared that his previous titles of demonic possession were a hoax.
