In conclusion, the dark ages were not really dark at all. The dark ages had many great moments in their time period. Some of which include the Magna Carta, Joan of Ark, The booming trade routes, and the continuing process of renewing things. The times may have been intellectually dark, but I don’t think dark ages is the correct term to describe the middle
The Renaissance was a period in time where everything started to change after the middle ages. During this historical period humans stared evolving by becoming smarter and inventing useful recourses that have changed the world. The renaissance was a life changing period which brought more joy to the world after conquering the dark ages. The Renaissance changed man’s view on the world by using Art, Science and Literature to make humans brighter and because of the rapid information they were gaining. Art during the Renaissance grew rapidly because of Leonardo Da Vici, and Michelangelo who changed the way people painted and drew by creating strategies which made art more interesting.
The phrase Dark Ages may refer to the historical time period that was originally used for the Middle Ages. The term came about five hundred years following the fall of Rome. During this time Rome and other surrounding cities really broke down because of different invasions from barbarians who were from northern and central Europe. Since there was no real authority with the power to really protect any of the citizens in these cities, the population declined tremendously at this time. Because of the lack of authority the development of the feudal system greatly suffered.

This period of time was known as the "Dark Ages" because of the decline of education, literature, and art. Life in the dark ages was miserable because there were little or no advancements, education became a commodity, and learning was not a main goal. After the fall of Rome, Western Europe had sparse advancements. This led to Europe getting semi-cutoff from the rest of the world.
I think that the Middle ages were not a golden age OR the dark ages. I think this for multiple reasons. To start off, there are many civilizations during the middles ages. All of these civilizations began and ended at different times and they all had different ideas and people. During medieval Europe, there was a lack of culture and literature but the Ancient Greek and Roman civilization were way head on technology back then.
People use the phrase “Middle Ages” to talk about Europe’s time between thefallofRome in 476 CE and the beginning of the renaissance in the 14th century. European artist and writers began to look back and celebrate the art and culture of Ancient Greece and Rome. At a point in time, after fall in Rome, people started to call this this “dark age”. This was because during this period no scientific accomplishments were made. Also, No great art work were produced, nor were any great leaders recognized at this time.
When using the work “dark” to describe something, the first thing that pops into mind is of something that is dead, has no value, and just something that is overall terrible. Thinking of the Middle Ages as the “Dark Ages,” it makes one think that tragedy occurred during that time period; however, that is the complete opposite as to what the Middle Ages really were. In the early Middle Ages, even though not much happened, people all over the countries were filled with life, when thinking of the Middle Ages as the “Dark Ages” one wouldn’t think that; therefore, the “Dark Ages” truly isn’t an appropriate term to describe the “Middle Ages” as a whole. Calling the Middle Ages the “Dark Ages” is insulting what people were achieving in that time period. Many get caught up in the fact of that time period being dark, when in reality they should be looking at the many progress they were making after.
In this way what is considered as dark ages for western civilization, results to be a great historical period for eastern civilizations – such as Indian and Chinese civilization –. Another element that could have influenced such characterization was the first use of it during the most difficult time after the fall of the Western Roman Empire; in this direction, we can perceive a Roman-melancholy when everything was great and splendid. To increase the meaning of this definition, this term was widely used during the Renaissance, as this period was perceived lighter if we compare with the harsh time at the last stage of the previous period, leaving aside all the knowledge and teaching that hard times implies for the upcoming periods. The trepid world filled with monsters, horrors and nightmares coming to life begins in the medieval ages. This is a fictional story which has different geography and mankind 's origins. Humanity originated after a cataclysmic event in which monsters also originated from this event. The theorized multiverse and bubbleverse theory comes into play since the story’s universe collided with another universe, hence the chaos among the two other races who were settled peacefully until the humans came and conquered everything from towns to hierarchies.
