CHAPTER 3
DESIGN AND PROCEDURE
This chapter provides a structural plan and strategy of inquiry to attain answers to research questions and problems. It discussed about the complete program of the research that includes the outline of what the researchers will do so that they can answer the questions validly, accurately and objectively.
The Research Design
This study found out how does communication takes place on deaf-mute parents towards their own family and the community that surrounds them. Also the researchers found out what are their approaches and problems that they encounter in dealing with other people especially in the hearing world.
The research approach is Qualitative that explores the attitude, behavior and experiences through

It found the reason why the deaf-mute parents govern to that kind of behavior base on her background and experiences. It discussed how the deaf-mute parents communicate their children and to know what are his or her ways or strategies to achieve his or her goals as a parent.
Researchers conducted this study for the readers to further understand the situation of a deaf-mute parent. It discussed the life of being a deaf-mute parent, and how do they handle their own family.
This study used Descriptive research, according to its purpose or the perspective of its objective. It seeks to provide an accurate description of observations of a phenomenon. It is about describing how and why reality is being presented. It describes people, products, and situation that will help the researchers to collect information that will support the study (Kumar, 2002).
It described the situation or the problem of the deaf-mute parents in communicating with their husband or wife, their children, and the community that surrounds them systematically. Also, researcher define the broader topic down to its narrowest situation as because they want to get deeper understanding on what kind of approach and challenges that the deaf-mute parents

It is a study of case on what approach and challenges that the deaf-mute parents encounter, over time through detailed, in-depth data collection. The focus will be on the situation, with the case used instruments to illustrate the issue (Kumar, 2002).
Through Case study, the researcher also involved a comprehensive and extensive examination of a particular individual especially, deaf mute parents.
This research adopted the study of the communication between deaf-mute parents, their partners in life and their children. This case study involves the gathering and analyzing data about the deaf-mute. From the broad nature of deaf-mute parents to the ways on how they communicate within their family and what factors do they use in communicating.
All data relevant to the case are gathered and organize in terms of the situation. This approach rest on the assumption that the case being studied is typical of cases of a certain type so that, through intensive analysis, generalizations may be made that will be applicable to other cases of the same
