Roulette was a rather simple and cheap game that almost anyone could play. It was very fair and the odds of wining were in everyone’s favor. After gaining a popular following in France, roulette spread to different parts of Europe and the United State of America in the 19th century (Roulette History). It quickly became very popular and has become one of the most popular casino games in the world. Roulette is a very addictive game and has been known to be “evil.” The numbers on the roulette wheel (1 to 36) add up to 666 (The Number of the Beast), which many perceive to be an evil number associated with the devil (Roulette …show more content…
The numbers are all mixed up and odd and even numbers vary from red and black as well as location, as to increase and at the same time decrease certain bets. There is a certain way a roulette wheel must be set up. The pockets or spaces on roulette wheel are numbered from 1 to 36 (Roulette History). The numbers that range from 1 to 10 and 19 to 28 have all odd numbers red and all even numbers black (Roulette History). The numbers that range from 11 to 18 and 29 to 36 have all odd numbers black and all even numbers red (Roulette History). There are two green pockets on the wheel, 0 and OO.
