think before you act too me is isn't to keep thing without acting but to stop and think about the consequences of your decision and then decide to follow through with any adjustments, i feel it is so important because it eliminates the irreversible mistakes and without it i personally, would be in a lot of trouble with only my bad choices to blame. in todays society it isn't seem as much as it should be but there’s no argue that everyone think’s before they act from time to time although with more of it they would be less fighting, less troubles and a lot less mistakes. an example of thinking before you act would be robbing a bank, it seems good at first but the consequences afterward outway the immediate positives by a long way, similar to drugs it would be a very regrettable decision. all up think before you act is used, since it is a common sense but still not enough, todays society is covered with things that would make your mistake regrettable so it stops the chaos there would be without it. deborah shows how think before you act should not be overlooked. Mando complements diego completely, adding in the factors that diego is missing, with his more adventurous / risk taking personality, he becomes the catalysts to the second, more adventures half of the story. mando let’s diego show his confidence by developing the story into a position where it’s appropriate to show it. the effect this has is to give the novel an adventurous feel instead of deigo staying in the prison the whole novel. Personally i thought the author did a great job of making diego into a cool and likable character. His growth throughout the novel was very noticeable. diegos confidence and morals grow along with him making him and character to look up to and learn from and although his relationships stop by the end of the book they carry him through his immense development, and helped portray the idea think before you act.
