The Declaration of Independence is a legal document written by one of our founding fathers to ensure the well being of the United State’s people. The legal document makes a statement on human equality and human rights. This statement can be seen in the second paragraph, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” In other words, every United States citizen is to be treated as equal. There is no discrimination in any aspect to brought upon anyone in order to live amongst life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Many a people are against being involved with the middle east and our wars out there. As for the economy, it’s declining causing numerous issues for people. These issues affect the majority of the United State’s population. It’s not just a few people who oppose the ways of how our government is handling them, it’s a decent portion of our population. These people who oppose the governments ways, let it be known through protest, petitions, social media and many other ways.They get others involved that agree with them and come forth in big numbers to present to the government. That’s their way of showing our government that we the people are unsatisfied with how something is being ran and we want change. Although we do protest, sign petitions, or spread awareness through Facebook, little to nothing ever gets done. This is going against what the Declaration of Independence was saying. According to the document, this petitioning in great numbers should veto the government’s choices. Instead the government responds with an increase in law enforcement to end the
