Fifteen years ago, a man named Lord Montagu lived with his six daughters and his wife. When he found out his wife was expecting another baby, he hoped that his seventh child would be a boy. Unfortunately, it turned out that his wife had another girl with pearl blue eyes. The lord told his wife that he did not want to see the newborn child and ordered her to throw the child away. Though the wife felt lugubrious, she ran to a nearby farm and left the child with a letter with the story of why the child had to be abandoned. Just then, there was a monk who was passing by the farm. The monk thought, ‘Oh my… Why is a child abandoned here on the ground? She visited the lord’s house and her biological mother cried in joy. Then, she walked past the entrance door to the city and entered the forbidden forest. There were warning signs to not go near the mountains by oneself because it is easy to get lost and meet wild creatures. Emma, however, ignored the signs and walked over five mountains and found out that the road over the sixth mountain was closed. She found a man washing his clothes next to a well. Once the man was satisfied with the color of his clothes, he pointed to a direction and Emma continued walking in that direction. After she courageously walked through the seventh mountain and the eighth mountain, she saw the lake. Because she thought that she would be unable to cross the lake, she sat down and cried thinking about her helpless father. Suddenly, a dragon from the water came out and asked why she as here. Then, Emma told the dragon her story and the reason why she is at the lake all by herself. Once the dragon heard her story, he decided to help Emma out to accomplish her mission.
