Five criteria namely business continuity , financial considerations, Rapini’s health , customer base and brand image were considered while evaluating the options
Evaluation of Options
All options were evaluated on the above criteria and the best analysed in terms of the customer base was decided and rated.
Recommendations
After analysing all the options on based criteria, it can be recommended that hiring two skilled professionals will help him offload the work and change his life style.
Action Plan
Mr Rapini along with his wife can conduct interviews for the job of sales manager and part time installer.

Decorative Interior is going through the most difficult situations since its existence, the sales have been stagnant for last eighteen months and to add to its misery the owner recently suffered a heart attack. Moving Business to Cottage Country : Moving the business to Cottage country will surely allow Mr Rapini to continue his business. Also he will be earning an income for his family (for details of income refer Exhibit II). From the exhibit we can certainly see that there is a rise in operating cost. Considering the health issues, it is quiet evident if DI operates from Cottage Country , Mr Rapini will be more and more stressed which in turn may hamper his health further. Also if DI is shifted to Cottage Country then whole of the customer base will have to be re-built. Though most of criteria are satisfied this option lacks behind in retaining brand
