Think of a process you have encountered at Stratford University that in your opinion needs to change. Define the current state (AS-IS), the future state (TO-BE), what is the gap and the risk the make the change. A process that I’ve encountered at Stratford University and believe should change, is the process of obtaining student ID cards. The AS-IS process that I encountered is that there are no notifications to pick-up ID cards. During my second semester, I received an email about student ID card FAQs, but had not yet received an email to pick-up my ID card. This FAQ email stated that if students cannot produce an ID card if asked, they may not be allowed to enter the building or may even be asked to go home. As a new student who is not yet completely aware of the ins and outs, this places a student at a disadvantage and should be changed. …show more content…

The risks that students need to be aware of with this change, is remembering to actually pick-up their identification card.
