Humans are born to be afraid. A feeling of fear is only natural for humans to feel; it is a part of who we are. However, it can be more than just a feeling. Fear can be a weakness in humans even though it is only our natural instinct for survival. Sometimes, fear is so powerful that it can blur our rationality and dominate how we think and what we do.
Fear is mankind’s greatest enemy. It causes ordinary people to do irrational things that someone in the right mind would not do. As stated by former president Franklin D. Roosevelt in his inaugural address, “We have nothing to fear but fear itself”’. Fear is something that could end all humanity. It causes humans to turn against each other in order to better themselves.
Fear can be defined as an unpleasant feeling triggered by a situation. It is an emotion encountered by every human being. However, the reactions of people to fear may vary. Indeed, it ranges from the loss of rationality to the capacity of adaptation in extreme conditions. Thus, fear can be perceived as a weapon to control and manipulate society.

Being fearless has an abundance of different meanings. There are many things people face in their lives where they have had to be fearless or even face their fears. Fear (definition): Something that vexes us to our very core, frightens us or prevents us from living a full, truly fulfilling life. Being fearless to me is having to take a leap of faith in life and trusting that things will go in the direction you need it too. Adam Brown was one of the most fearless men.
