What is love? After a long hard day, I come home from school and am welcomed by my mom’s warm hug. She smiles at me and asks, “How was your day?” I answer with, “It was okay. How was yours?” She kindly smiles at me and says, “I didn’t sleep all night and I put ice on my shoulder since it has been very painful today.” I am grateful for all the things she does because a mother’s love is special. To love something, you have to have an attachment to the object. For instance, you can love a new jacket you just bought. The more you wear it, you feel a deep connection to the jacket because it describes your sense of fashion and who you are as a person. You can also love the jacket because it was a gift given to you from your best friend, family member, or boyfriend/ girlfriend. It would tear you apart to think anything would happen to it or if you lost it. Love can be used to describe your devotion to someone.
