Annoying Love I love my sister Kayla, but there are many times when that statement might not seem so true. Like most kids do, we’ve had our fair share of arguments. She’s always tried to be the boss of me and my little rebellious side hates that. My parents aren’t home and Kayla is in charge, again. I hate when she’s in charge, she’s so bossy. She's only four years older than me, so I don’t see why she thinks she can act like a parent to me. As we sit in the living room I’m sitting on the couch watching TV. Whenever she comes home she loves to sit down to see how everything is going. Being stubborn I often will give her the typical teenage answers of “good,” or “fine,” without wanting to give any detail. But as I’ve matured we’ve started to have deeper conversations. She loves telling me about whatever she is getting to do in college, and I’m always a capable listener. She tells me about new findings in classes, and tries to convince me of their validity. I’ve never been a big reader, and with her being an English major we still get into some arguments, often times about reading. She tells me all the great things reading can give you, and while I admit most of it sounds like truth, I still argue my point just to fluster her a little. Other times we switch roles, and she tries her best to pry out more information from me about any topic I’m willing to talk about. She bombards me with questions wanting to know everything. Soon it’s time for her to go. As she leaves we hug, and she reminds me that I should text her to keep her up to date on what’s happening in my life.
