Growing up I’d always hear people ask the question “Do you trust me ?” whether it was on TV or people surrounding me. The word has so much importance and life and granting it can be a risk. Trust is something people strive for it’s like getting a pot of gold. It's what keeps relationships and friendships together. Trust is an emotional feeling because when you lose it a part of your heart is left in shambles. When meeting new people you can predict if they’re trustworthy from there personality and impression, but you never know how long it’ll last. Granting someone trust is like giving your life to them, because they have the power to lose it or keep it that’s powerful and meaningful it is. It is very hard to grant trust but loss of trust leads people to become enemies and have so much hate for each other, it’s sad to see. Trust is broken in many ways like, not living up to your words, breaking promises and the most popular exposing secrets not keeping your mouth shut and telling things around. Things like secrets can depend on people's lives and can do horrifying things like ruin a person's reputation, that’s killing a person in the inside because they lose their self confidence. I always assume things are shady or a scheme. I never believe it when they say “trust me” I automatically assume it’s a lie, people say it’s because I’m paranoid but I have no problem with it. Trusting someone gives you more freedom to being more open and speaking about your problems, you could rant without no worries. Giving out trust so quickly can leave you to being vulnerable and loss of feelings. Trusting people can be tough because they might not feel the same
