Normal is what you’re most often exposed to which suggest the definition of normal needs a change; the definition of normal is “Being of the sort or kind that is expected as usual, ordinary, or average” (Webster 1). Normal is conflicting in standard definition it diversifies people from each other creating odd or weird to label people. Allowing the conflicting words just allows people to pick out flaws in others; creating an effect on people that is damaging to the self-esteem and mind. Normal needs redefining to allow the discrimination against the outspoken, the individual, and the unique peoples, to halt and encourage free expression; serving an injustice too many things that are undefinable by normality. The definition of normal is hindering for both applications of medical, regular, and technical terminology. Change is normal. Resisting change is also normal but brings difference consequences than accepting not normal (Economy 1). Consequences occur when you don’t evolve alongside with the social norms, resulting in a lack of understanding or an absence of perspective and seeing both sides.
