How do you define success? Would you say it is determined by the amount of money you make or how wealthy you are? Or would you define it as having a surplus of happiness and having everything you need in life? The American dream is to have a large house with an expensive car, along with stacks of money waiting at your bedside. Yet what if success isn't determined by material goods? Success could be tied to broader concept such as getting over hardships, happiness, passion for hobbies, and wealth.
Success can mean having to overcome hardships. No one enjoys the pain, fear and tears of a hardship or problem in their life. When someone overcomes something, they have a tendency to have a feeling of accomplishment. An individual that has accomplished something has also achieved a degree of success. Light cannot be seen without darkness and success would not be achieved without failure. So, without hardships you would be unable to reach success and would be unable to feel a sense of accomplishment.

When someone is asking what it's like to succeed most people may say when you have a lot of money from specific job. but does your money truly define your success?
