Your family is the one that carries you and builds you up from the moment you are born. The relationship with your family is a very important one. If you do not get along from a young age, many of your values, beliefs and behaviors can change. This affects the way that you function for the rest of your life. You attitude is also affected from your relationships.
The official definition of the word "friend" is, and I quote, "a person whom one knows and has a bond of mutual affection with." This statement is true; however, it only vaguely expresses the standards of a friend. Self-sacrifice, being genuine and honest towards one another, and mutual trust all come together to form an absolute true friendship, and are conveyed in popular media, such as Harry Potter and Grey's Anatomy. In the Harry Potter book series, the protagonists seem like an ordinary bunch of friends in the beginning.
Pride is something a person deeply feels towards something or someone. For example, pride can be your own. It can be your own self respect because pride can be taken away from you if you are forced to do something against your will. Another, pride could be something you feel towards an enemy or a family member. It could be something you feel towards an enemy, for instance, you had an argument with them and said some harsh words and would not apologize to them or admit you’re wrong because you do not want to “swallow” your pride; same goes for a family member, they can be a family member that loves you or they could be the one who ruins you, but either way your pride will always be on the way.

Family. There are a lot of thoughts and feelings associated with this word. Every person has a different interpretation of this word as well. For some, it brings up past experiences filled with joy and happiness, and for others, thoughts of misery and heartache come into the picture.
If you look the word family up in the dictionary it says that family is a group consisting of parents and children living together in a household. For me family is much more than that. It's the people I care about and have a special connection with and a bondage that can not be broken. My mom's side of the family gets together about two times a year for reunions. We go down to missouri in july and in december.
“Family” is a hard word to create a concrete definition for. If one were to ask three random people on the street, it is likely they will receive three completely different answers to defining a family. The textbook definition of family according to the etymology dictionary is: “Origin in early 15c. “servants of a household” from Latin familia “family servants, domestics collectively, the servants in a household.” The traditional dictionary describes family in a more narrow fashion stating, “a basic social unit consisting of parents and their children, considered as a group, whether dwelling together or not.”
Family is characterized with common aspects such as parents, grandparents, and siblings but there are so many other ways to distinct family. The word family is commonly defined as a group of individuals that have the same ancestors, and gather for holidays and other special events. This particular definition is true in so many ways, but everyone goes through life with situations that are brought up that bring together or break apart families. When I think about the word family and my experiences I have gone through and I would consider family to have crazy moments, lots of laughter, and unconditional love. Family to me is getting everyone together and having a good time and acting crazy with your loved ones, making memories.
According to Dictionary.com, family means a group of persons who form a household under one head, including parents, children, and servants. According to Google family means, all the descendants of a common ancestor. As one can see, there are many different meanings to family. To me family means support, dysfunctional, love, and friendships. Family is the most important influence on a child’s life.
I believe that every family has their own roots, essence, uniqueness, beliefs and thoughts, some families have both parents, some just the mother, just the father, two mothers or two fathers, they might have an only child or two, or maybe 5 or even 10, therefore, those children start learning all these things from their family and surroundings, they ask questions, they imitate each other’s actions and are constantly learning and trying to catch as much information and experiences as possible. Children are growing fast, their parents are their role models, they learn mostly from them; parents have the tremendous job of forming good citizens that provide to society, healthy and happy beings that keep growing as humans in every stage of their
