Family loyalty is an important thing. As a family, trust and respect are needed to make a home run smoothly. I have two sisters and a brother whom I am loyal to and who are loyal to me. If something were to happen to them I would do whatever was needed to help them and they would do the same for me. We are all protective of each other but we also are have much fun together.
My older brother is the toughest, smartest, most competitive guy you will ever met. Sometimes I wish I wish I was more like him, more popular, not getting beat on… My mom and dad are even tough. I don’t understand how I tie into this family at all. My entire family is tough, for gosh sake, my mom will go hunting with us instead of staying home and cleaning and cooking like others mothers.
We consider ourselves as a typical family. Our immediate family is comprised of me, my husband, son and mother. Wyman and Sallie are retired military who are employed by the Department of the Army at Fort Riley. We enjoy quality time as a family unit, we ride to work together three days a week, attend church as a family and celebrate holidays by hosting cookouts at our home. Wyman and Semadre attend the local high school football games and enjoys their ride to and from his school daily.
THE ESSENTIAL NATURE OF GOD The author of Hebrews wrote, “…without faith it is impossible to please [God]… for he who comes to God must believe that He is…” Ergo, belief in God, would be an essential of Christianity.
For my dad, I don’t know his father or his brother. My dad’s mom is the reason we don’t talk to my dad’s side of the family anymore. I only have a few uncles and aunts that I get to talk to currently, while the rest of the “used to be” family disappears. My family has a lot of grief and anger, but we all laugh and have good days like everyone else. We just look out for each other.
Through the short stories that are available through this unit one could see a common occurrence of family throughout. The most common occurrences of family that I saw was the realization of love, blessings taken for granted, and the thrill of being young. Each of the stories that will be represented have all three of the traits listed, and portray each vividly throughout. In the poem "Those Winter Sundays" by Robert Hayden, one first sees the author's realization of love, as his father wakes early on a sunday morning to heat the house for his family.
They are our motivation, as well as, the people who encourage and look out for us. The family we already have is there to motivate and help us, as we build careers to provide comfort and stability for them, moreover, family members to come. As a new student,
The love of a family is life’s greatest blessing. In life, there is a universal desire for oneness among people—we want to belong. It is why we collaborate, support common causes, cheer for sports teams, feel nationalism; it’s why we build villages, towns, and cities. Families are where we connect ourselves in relationships to past, current, and future generations. For many, family is not only a blessing, but our greatest accomplishment.
In my opinion, these traits are very important because exerting positive energy and optimism can only help improve tough situations. Although I come from a different cultural background, we have this cultural pattern in common. It is very apparent that they value their intermediate family and extended families more than anything. “You only live once, so it’s important to spend the most time with the people you love.” (N. Sanchez)
Family is somebody who matters to you, cares for you, and loves you. Blood relation does not matter; Jamie is family to me. Jamie is a very wonderful man who I met almost six years ago. When we first met, he seems so tall compared to me.
“Family” is a hard word to create a concrete definition for. If one were to ask three random people on the street, it is likely they will receive three completely different answers to defining a family. The textbook definition of family according to the etymology dictionary is: “Origin in early 15c. “servants of a household” from Latin familia “family servants, domestics collectively, the servants in a household.” The traditional dictionary describes family in a more narrow fashion stating, “a basic social unit consisting of parents and their children, considered as a group, whether dwelling together or not.”
Through all the tough and terrible situations a person may be wrapped up in your family is usually the group of people you can go to, and get the best most helpful advice. In my family I have certain people that I can automatically go to and tell them my problems without being judged, and I always get the best advice. People in your family are the people you keep closest to you because they are blood, and they’re not friends that come and go. They are blood and will always be apart of you and want nothing but the best for you. People in a family that give the best advice are the ones who have gone through so many battles in their life because they know what it takes to overcome them.
Cover Letter This essay made me do a lot of thinking about what family meant to me. There were a lot of words that came to mind but I came to the conclusion of only a few. There are SO many different definitions of family, love, support, etc.
They have always encouraged me to do my best and strive for the best, they have always supported my positive decisions, and they have always helped me when I’ve been in trouble. My family has been there for me and each other through thick and thin, and I really love them. Their advice, support, and encouragement have incited me to endeavour for the highest possible achievements. My family is my major influence as they have affected my life from the very start of my life in everything I do.
I believe that every family has their own roots, essence, uniqueness, beliefs and thoughts, some families have both parents, some just the mother, just the father, two mothers or two fathers, they might have an only child or two, or maybe 5 or even 10, therefore, those children start learning all these things from their family and surroundings, they ask questions, they imitate each other’s actions and are constantly learning and trying to catch as much information and experiences as possible. Children are growing fast, their parents are their role models, they learn mostly from them; parents have the tremendous job of forming good citizens that provide to society, healthy and happy beings that keep growing as humans in every stage of their
