We are all unique and complex, and when we create a family we are dealing with the all and beyond the emotions written in the dictionary. Meaning, there are a myriad of things we sacrifice, damage, fail however, on the other hand we get love, care, share, excitement and much more. Each family got different rules and different ways of living, but what is universally understood is that a family is a part of yourself you would never let go off. Indeed, at birth we cannot choose our families, so there are others who are born in unfortunate families possibly dealing with emotional and physical struggles from abuse or any other kind of disasters done by their own family. People get adopted, people create their own family, even best friends are considered a member of a family, so considering this, family is somewhat superior compared to other human relationships. What I consider the most salient points of what a family is, is the people who built your base, provide protection, strength, laughter, memories and unlimited experiences and feelings that made you stronger so you can build and support your own family later on. In other words, you don’t have to understand your family, they will always have your back no matter what happens and together they will live forever in your heart.
