Happiness: the single most widespread objective throughout society. People of all ages dream to one day be truly happy. Whether that means being rich, finding love, or having 12 cats all for yourself, most believe it to be the true purpose of life. However, all this time we have been mislabeling it: we think we are chasing happiness when really, we are chasing satisfaction. Consequently, people who have lower expectations have an easier time achieving this satisfaction and therefore a so called “happiness”.
Not many achieve happiness in their lifetime. Either they do not live long enough to witness it or they are not prepared for what their happiness is. Happiness is very subjective. Each person’s version of happiness is different. This version of happiness is universal.
When thinking of happiness, every human brain will travel down a different path. Humans seek different ways of trying to attain true happiness. Many individuals will seek pleasurable moments and things in order to reach their happy trial. Sitting on a porch Sunday morning with a cup of coffee. Going out with your loved one to see a new release in theaters.
Happiness is under our personal control. Enjoying small pleasures, involve in challenging activities, setting goals and achieved them, maintaining and create social relationships with people, and finding a purpose beyond oneself enhances life satisfaction. According to positive psychology Sonja Lyumbomirsky, happiness can be described as combination experience of blissful, satisfaction, or prosperousness with the perception that one's life is good, purposeful, and valuable (The How of Happiness, 2007). It is our nature to seek a life full of happiness, we ensure that every matter in our lives is aimed at making us feel good and avoiding us from pain and Hurtful.
First I will address the term happiness. I would like to argue that happiness is whatever you want it to be, either having good relations to others, having obscure measures of money or even being free, but I can not argue with the fact that happiness is controlled by chemical reactions in the brain that stimulate us into thinking we are happy. It is nothing more than simple biology.
Many Americans experience different emotions throughout their lives with having a baby or a new car or house. Happiness is a state of emotion and a state of well-being. According to Abraham Lincoln, “Most people are about as happy as they make up their minds to be.” Take a peek at three things that people can choose to be happy. The first thing people can choose to be happy is to respect others.
It seems as if every person I’ve ever met has one goal in life. They chase after one common aspect of life and set it as their primary goal. Everyone chases after happiness. While it is so common for people to chase after a single thing; the irony of the matter is that each person's definition of happiness is so much different than another’s. This very unique and makes happiness so exquisite, my definition for happiness will vary from your definition.
The definition of the word ‘happy’ is feeling or showing pleasure or contentment. Happiness is not monetary, and shouldn’t be seen as such, since there is a lot more behind the word. Money is a tangible and happiness should be something you find within your heart, not on a dollar bill. Usually, those who rely on money to buy their happiness are often proved wrong, and result feeling in dismal. It is important to put your values on what really matters in life to live happier and healthier.
Happiness is everywhere, if you find it, discover it, and experience it, it will make you feel that life is so meaningful. Happiness, if you have it, your life will be colored, valuable, and happy as if it were God. He can change the fate of your life; happiness is like the switch of life. If you lose happiness, you lose confidence. Losing confidence is equivalent to losing your life.
Happiness that runs deep is those moments that bring more of an afterglow. One thing that blocks spontaneous flow of happiness is self-awareness. When we are aware or anxious about whether we are achieving happiness, then it is not going to happen. Aspirational happiness is often associated with fake cheerfulness or without any seriousness of life. By the very nature of happiness, the opposite of it is not unhappiness or even depression, but anxiety.
Happiness. Does anyone really know the meaning of the word? The word means something different for everyone. Some would say it is a state of well-being that encompasses living a good life with a sense of meaning and deep satisfaction. Happiness amongst college students has been a topic of conversation around the world.
Happiness has a broad meaning. One may consider it to be having money, love, or even just enjoying the little things in life. There is no real definition for happiness because it all depends on a person 's perspective of life. Happiness is more about the way you think and act rather than a material possession. It is not something that has a physical form, or that is worth something valuable, yet everybody seeks it.

Through this experience I am able to immerse myself in something I truly love and be a be a better, lighter version of myself. For some, happiness is living in the moment and experiencing life as it passes, but for others it means living a life of virtue. Though happiness may look different for everyone, it is something that everyone is striving for.
