How can these two things relate and exist with each other? How as a writer posing this argument can I stress living life in a positive, optimistic, or quote "idealistic" way, when life itself is reality, which in itself defined in a way which suggests life itself is impossible to be lived in a more enlightened or positive way. Well for one I can because I decided to, but also because I am feeling kind enough to inform of a secret relationship between reality and optimism very few know about, and that is because it lays in an overcast area of our brains known as sensation. Sensation is "a physical feeling or perception resulting from something that happens to or comes into contact with the body." Sensations are, but not limited to, the taste of a delicious fresh brewed tea, the smell of a freshly picked flower, the feel of silk between your fingers, the sound of a lilting voice, and the sight of a simmering crimson sunset in the evening. The appreciation and love of these little sensations of life lead to a great amount of happiness many people overlook or take for granted.
