It takes time to build trust Trust is part of our daily lifestyles that we need to continue with our lives, not only because it makes our lives much easier, whether it be to vent to a friend or for business, but because trust can create so many more opportunities for you in the future. Many different people have their different opinions on what the word “trust” means, but to me it means the ability or act of doing something without being checked up on, now this could be about anything such as relationships, but in my case, it is about business. Well in our case it was different, back in about 2013, we had an employee at my dad’s businesses which at the time were gas stations and cell phone stores, and the manager at the stores was the nephew of my father’s best friend. As my father left out of the country for pilgrimage, the manager of my dad’s business stole close to three hundred thousand dollars. Now at first, we did not realize only because he had our full trust and one of the main reasons why he did have our full trust is because he was my father’s best friend’s uncle, we never saw it coming. We then started looking at the company credit card transactions and we saw man different purchases that were never made by us, not only that but the cash deposits never matched to what they were actually supposed to be.
