Success
The meaning of success differs from one individual to another. True success is not given to a person, but has to be earned. Wealth or popularity may be what comes to most people’s minds, but a common-thread lies in the substrate of the word. Success is having a dream, creating an action plan, pursuing it, attaining the desired result and lastly, enrich others with it. The definition from American Heritage Roget's Thesaurus is “the achievement of something desired, planned, or attempted”. The word originates from the Mid-16th century Latin ‘successus’, from the verb succedere 'come close after', which clearly reflects a similar analogy. Success is a lifestyle. This is the grand prize so to speak. Once success is reached, the responsibility to lead others in the community is the highest calling. It is the hope that success can be invested back into the world that had invested in that success to begin with. Your ability, rapport and triumph are yours, but yours only as a gift from the community. Success cannot exist without people. Even better, people that you can take on your journey with you. Success never stand alone. Enrichment is the relationship formed by each other to improve the world around us; it’s transforming leadership into others. I could image that guiding people to success may be the most rewarding experience in life. This form of community service is revered as the cornerstone of any good business, organization, group or even one’s household. Warren Buffet, Bill and Melinda Gates, Bono, George Clooney and Mother Teresa are prime examples of people using their victory to make others victorious.
