Through Dictionary.com confidence is, “belief in oneself and one's powers or abilities; self-confidence; self-reliance; assurance.” Having confidence is not something everyone possesses, it is a trait in which certain people have and can portray it into life. I believe that preparing yourself for something breeds confidence in what you are choosing to do. Confidence, in my opinion, helps success. It makes you ready for the task at hand and makes you feel as if you can do it. Now, you can not get confidence mistaken with someone who is arrogant or egotistical. Being over confident can make your personale look bad, it can come off as a bad trait to obtain. Everyone who believes in confidence can achieve anything they put their mind to whether it is winning a race or getting good grades, it just takes obedience and superb preparation. My life is like the ocean on a windy day, it can have huge ups as well as hard falls just like the waves.
