Some of you would say that community is a diverse group of people that live within your neighborhood that have different back grounds and histories. I would like to say you’re wrong. A community is determined by many different factor and as humans we try to find places where we fit in or belong. We are creatures of nature who tend to be fearful of diversity. True diversity does not usual coexist within communities, the people in your community are usual just like you. Can you look around your community and truly say that you are in a neighborhood that is much different from you? Community is a collaboration of people who have similar financial situations, similar tastes and opinions, and then people with similar beliefs like you do. A community tends to have people from the same financial situations and that’s okay. Mainly because people tend to enjoy the company of people like themselves. Many rich people would feel out of place if they went to live in a trailer park community but that’s just because people of what they are accustomed too. Our income tends to reflect on the places you live. Money separates people because some people cannot afford to live in that community, but opinions and tastes have a big influence as they begin to shape the community to have common thoughts. Communities can also be shaped be beliefs as they want to be closer to people who have the same beliefs and religions. A community is a very predictable thing that can be easily predicted as people are congregating to places where they feel natural. Wouldn’t you want to live in a community that feels natural for you to live
