How would you define a “lady”? Everyone has their own idea or perspective of what a lady is, but what’s yours? No lady is perfect but that’s what makes her who she is or who she is destined to be. Not every woman is considered a “lady”, it’s all about how you carry or present yourself.
A lady is a woman with self-respect. A lady with self-respect is a lady of self-love, who admires herself no matter what other people think of her. She sees herself as very valuable. A valuable woman never allows anyone to take advantage of her because she knows what she’s worth; many women allow others to control them due to lack of self-respect. She is independent, meaning she is confident within herself, she’s happy with herself without having to rely on anyone but herself. She finds comfort in being alone and doesn’t feel that she needs anyone to be who she is. She’s also a lady who follows her own path in life, rather than following the path of a man or anyone else, meaning she doesn’t seek to find anything in a man that she doesn’t already have for herself. She knows her strengths and what she is capable of. She doesn’t find any shame of whom she is as a woman, she is fierce, loving and appreciative of everyone who stands by her side and supports her just as she supports herself. She’s a fighter through every battle she goes through, she fights for what she believes in and never worry of others opinion about it. For an example, if she supports or believes in something someone else doesn’t agree to, it doesn’t affect her at all, in fact it gives her more of a reason to embrace her belief. She isn’t afraid to express herself and allow others to know how she feels and she’ll speak up about something she doesn’t approve of or support. She’s humble in every way that she can be, meaning she permits nothing to interfere with her accomplishments, goals or dreams. She doesn’t let others define who she is as a person, she defines herself and doesn’t let anyone try and change that because she is full of self-love. A lady who is supporting is a woman who’s nurturing, for an example a lady supports the household and this includes cleaning, cooking, and making sure the home includes all of the necessities for survival. She is encouraging and helpful, she uplifts everyone around her because it makes her feel good inside. Another example would be a lady who has children, she has to be nurturing to her children and support them because they are dependent on her. A lady who’s nurturing isn’t necessarily a woman who has children, you can be nurturing in many ways. It can be anyone that’s dependent on a woman and that allows her to be nurturing and she can also be this way with herself. She’s a lady who’s always concerned about others rather than just herself, she’s also a very understanding person. A supportive lady is a loving, caring, and kind woman.
