When doing my research, the three companies I chose were, Aldi, Dell EMC and Kohl’s Department Stores. All three of these companies are seeking marketing majors and are going to be at the career fair on September 27th.
Aldi is a grocery store that operates on the moto that products of great quality should always be supplied at low, attainable prices. In addition to their everyday low prices, responsive customer service and quick-and-easy shopping experience, Aldi partners with local growers to bring their shoppers the highest quality of foods. They are focused on making a large impact on how customers view grocery shopping, by saving them time and money without giving up on quality.
In addition to being very customer focused, Aldi offers their employees industry-leading wages, optimal working environments and unique benefits. Growing up in a technology focused generation, has allowed me to gain an extreme amount of knowledge and passion for it. I think that their efforts to create strong and lasting programs that will change the focus of how we view and use technology is exciting. As being a marketing major, I would be able to work hands on with the advertising of these products. I would be able to address potential investors and buyers confidentially and sell them on these innovative products. Since I am so passionate with advertising and technology, I think being a part of this company would be a great resume builder.
