It 's been quite a while since now 22-year-old former Disney popstar Demi Lovato has released new music. Her fourth studio album, Demi, came out over two years ago in 2013, and since then, Demi has not spoken much about her upcoming projects. That is, until now. Fear not Lovatics, Demi just released the music video for her latest single "Cool for the Summer," which will make you want to hit the replay button over and over again.
As always, Demi 's voice blows me away in "Cool for the Summer." I have always admired her outstanding range, and she showcases her insane vocal ability very well in this track. In particular, her riffs and runs on top of the last chorus leave me absolutely speechless every time I hear them. I also love the way Demi 's voice glides over the notes in this song as she sings, "Don 't be scared 'cause I 'm your body type." It 's a truly unique sound and arguably the most captivating moment of the entire song.
