Kyle Means Ms.Dixon Criminal Justice 3 23 October 2017 Richard Kuklinski Paper Richard Kuklinski was a special case: he wasn’t a regular serial killer and didn’t get satisfaction from killing. Instead he thought nothing of it and considered it a way to make a living. He was “stone cold” and showed no mercy to anyone other than his family. This showed that he wasn’t a psychopath, because he actually showed some emotion for people. Serial killers typically kill because they have a dark twisted fantasy to do so.
Hi, I’m Haley Fox, a detective for the “Virginia State Police Department.” Recently, it has been brought to my attention that a man, whom we do not know the name of, is going on a rampage, killing innocent people in their sleep. I’ve done some various research on this man, based on what we do know, which includes digging up some of his records here with the police department. Strangely enough, we’ve noticed that this isn’t the first time that this man has killed someone. This unexplained killing, and the reason behind the killing, has led us to believe that maybe this man is crazy.
Carter Hendry Mrs.Dixon Criminal Justice III-7 23 October 2017 Kuklinski Richard Leonard Kuklinski was born on April 11, 1935 in Jersey City, New Jersey of 1935, and suffered from a tough childhood upbringing. His mother Anna Mcnally was an extremely strict catholic, and regularly hit her son for any “non religious” acts that he committed. His father, Stanley, worked on the railroads and was a deadbeat alcoholic who regularly beat his son. In Kuklinski’s interviews he often contributed his insanity and love for violence to his father. Kuklinski was not only beaten by his father but he was regularly bullied at school which led to his feelings of anger and less power.
Jeffrey Dahmer was a normal looking man on the outside, but on the inside he was hiding secrets that everyone would eventually discover. “As a child Dahmer had a weird interest in dead animals. In the basement of his childhood home, Dahmer would bring road-kill inside and dissect them then he would dissolve the road-kill with chemicals. It was only until he graduated that he started bringing people home instead of road-kill.” (Punishment) Dahmer’s dad, a chemist, helped teach him how to bleach and preserve the animal bones, which later helped him preserve his victims.
Richard "Iceman" Kuklinski was viewed as a normal man by society for much of his adult life. This man was far from normal. Kuklinski was a psychopath and a sociopath who was driven to kill by his troubled childhood and his lifestyle as a paid hit man. This paper will focus on the criminological theory of why Kuklinkski committed these murders. Richard Leonard Kuklinski was born in 1935 to Stanley and Anna Kuklinski ("Meet Notorious Contract Killer Richard Kuklinski").

Emily Decius Sociology 361 Term Paper November 16, 2017 Of the many serial killers that have terrorized the nation throughout history, there are a few that stand out from the rest, one being Theodore Bundy. He became much more famous than others, and his story is rather interesting but has been constantly changed and promoted by the media. In total, it is estimated that Bundy murdered anywhere between 36 to 100+ victims, and there are still many bodies that have not been found (Sullivan, 2009). Bundy had always seemed to be a somewhat normal person through his younger years, and it seemed to most people like he would be successful in life (Sullivan, 2009). He excelled in school, attended college, and at one point even enrolled in law school (Sullivan, 2009).
Charles Manson’s “Family” is one of the most well-known cults in America. His cult gained influence from drugs and the Beatles song Helter Skelter (Charles). Manson’s referred to him as Satan, though he claimed to be Jesus reincarnated. “Satanism has been labelled the fastest rising criminal element in the country” (DeRemer). Charles Manson never physically conducted a murder, but he was given the responsibility for planning them.
