a. This topic is selected in order to execute a thorough exemplification of a literature review of secondary research, as well as discuss primary research conducted which elaborates on the pathology, etiology, diagnosis and treament of a dental anomaly called Dens in dente as known as dens invagination.
B. Structure and/or Methodology
a. The occurrence of dens invaginatus, classification of dens in dente, diagnosis ,case studies, treatment, periodontal involvement, etiology, and presentation of review of literature, and determination of conclusions based on the indications.

C. Materials
a. After the indication of dens invagination endodontic treatment started immediately which is one method of applied treatment.
b. Depending on the age of the patient several decisions can be made for example an incision on the eruption bulge.
D. Results
a. After conclusive evidence of dens invagination specific treatment methods should follow, such as prophylactic or preventative sealing of the invagination, a root canal, endodontic apical surgery, intentional replantation, and extraction.
b. Dens invagination is very case specific, depending on the type of invagination endodontic management may be required and in some cases prophylactic sealing of the invagination will be done after an incision of the eruption bulge is performed.
