I am determined to pursue a dentistry degree at Nova Southeastern University degree for these reasons. First, I am in love with dentistry. I derive my motivation from my family. Both of my grandmothers were nurses. My uniquely social personality fits in well with the dentistry profession. I have already graduated from college with a dentistry assistant diploma. After then I volunteered for a month at cosmetic dentistry office and was hired right after by a dentist. Currently, I am working for a multi-specialty dental clinic which mainly deals with endodontics, periodontics, orthodontics, oral Surgery and general dentistry. I love working in the dentistry department much and I am edging towards completion of a dentistry degree. After careful consideration of my career interests, I decided that dentistry is the career that I was meant to pursue. I believe that dentistry is for the kind-hearted people who take other people’s problems as if they were their own and try to solve them in the best way that they can. I am particularly troubled by many people’s dentistry related complications that have completely changed their lives for worse, just because some basic dentistry treatments were not put in place at the right time, thereby aggravating a patient’s dentistry condition. Dentists play a very critical role in the lives of these patients. I have had a one year experience as a volunteer dealing with the communities. This experience opened my eyes to the importance of the dentistry profession.
