That room was a bit strange. It was very spacious and there were many sword-wielding statues on the left and right wall. On the other end of the room, there were many pictures drawn, perhaps depicting some kind of story. Such place was not unfamiliar with me. I had encountered many rooms like that one on other tombs and pyramids. Therefore, I shouldn’t feel anything strange. However, that room was a bit different. When I entered it, I had this feeling that something was off.
The room was located inside Basilisk Catacomb, the newly discovered ruin nearby Heilig Town. I had heard about it from a friend of mine when I had lunch with him. Then, without any hesitation, I put my right arm inside and pulled out a broadsword. The sword was a bit wide and heavy, but I could easily wield it with one hand. As the blade color was light blue, the sword received the name Aqua Blade.
In all honesty, I preferred not to fight inside a ruin. It was a really fragile building. One hit and everything would crumble. However, since I couldn’t possibly get out of Basilisk Catacomb alive if I didn’t destroy those statues, I had not much of a choice.
Thus, with Aqua Blade in hand, I ran toward the closest statue. As if it could read my movement, the statue swung down his sword toward me. However, I also swung my weapon toward its torso. Since the soldier had a normal sword and I had a broadsword, I could easily break its weapon and destroyed it at the same time.
Then, I attacked the next statue. I had not much of a trouble because their movement were sluggish and their weapon durability was much lower than mine. Same goes with the third and fourth and fifth soldier statue. I only slashed them once with Aqua Blade and they crumbled to pieces. However, by the sixth statue, I got a little
